Planning, terribly, what needs to be included in the leaflet.


Choosing the typeface. Natural History Museum use a typeface at the moment which I think is FS Ingrid, a really nice clinical typeface that still looks fresh. I already like their branding/identity and have tried to use that to make design decisions throughout the brief. I've tried to find typefaces that resemble Ingrid and have settled on Arial. Standard as that may be it seems to be the most appropriate.



Considering how to present the information in the leaflet, how to get the right relationship between the illustrations and the information. It might be good to display them in more of a diagramatic way.





Illustrations for the content of the leaflets. Instead of having pure vectorised images throughout all the deliverables I thought it would be good to include the illustrations since they reflect the content of the museum more, and the vector images are more suitable for clarity of information.
